Game Instructions

In RoboZaper, you are the owner of a fighting robot. You have weapons that you can use against other robots. By winning battles, you can earn credits to purchase better weapons and armor. You can also improve your bot's skill in the simulator or challenge other players to climb the rankings.

First Steps

The first thing you should do when you start the game is to go to the part shop and buy a Siren or Paper Sack. Then go to the arena and practice against some level 1 bots. Once you have a few hundred credits, go to the simulator and bump up your skill points. This will help you against opponents that are otherwise equally matched with you. Save up $1000 and go back to the part shop and buy the item that you didn't get the first time. This should get you started.

This shows the current rankings of all the players of the game. You can challenge players above or below you to a challenge. If you win, your rank may go up. If you lose, your rank may go down.

Fight Practice

You can practice by fighting a league robot. The higher the level, the better they are, so you'll want to start out with level 1. When you win, you get some credits and some experience. If you lose, you lose some experience. Practicing is a great way to earn money and get better before challenging any of the ranked players. You only get a certain number of fights per day in the arena, so use them wisely and them come back tomorrow to play again. If you think you are about to lose a fight, you should run away. This will protect you from losing experience.

This is how you can move up in the rankings! Challenge your fellow players to a fight, and if you walk away with less damage, then you take their place in the rankings. You can challenge people below you to boost your win/loss ratio and to get some extra experience. Your opponent does not need to be online to challenge them. The challenge is based purely on their items and skill. You only get a certain number of challenges per day, so use them wisely and then come back tomorrow to play again.

Here you can improve your offensive or defensive skills. Your offensive skill level helps determine the maximum damage that you can cause to an opponent. Your defensive skill level helps you avoid being hit by your opponent. Better forms of training will give you more skill points, but also cost more.

Part Shop

You can buy better weapons and armor at the store. The more expensive the item, the better it is.

Here is were you can tweak your weapon. This will make it either more accurate or more powerful. You cannot have both, so you must pick which one you want. The price of tweaking is 5% of the cost of your weapon.

You can hire a hacker to go snoop on other robots. Before you challenge someone, its probably a good idea to see what items they have.

If you need some extra credits, but you dont have the time to earn them properly, you can always try your luck at gamblign for them.

Getting Kicked Out of the Arena

Players who do not participate in at least one fight every 1 month will be kicked out of the arena and will have to start over again with nothing.

This icon means that the robot has a corporate sponsor. You must win at least 2 challenges for every 1 that you lose in order to get sponsored.

This is the computer virus. When you have a virus the credits you receive from fights will be cut in half. You can only get rid of the virus by beating a ranked player in a challenge.

This player has been online in the last 30 minutes.
